Hi,

I am a Win user who switched to Mac like 7 months ago. I m very happy with my IMAC and i think i got used to many differences it has& i enjoy them.

My problem is with listing the files. Let s say I m trying to attach a file on gmail. I click the attach button then the small finder opens. I can not list files according to their modified date creation date etc which causes lot s pain in a folder full of files.

Is there any trick that I am missing? And is there tag based listing in Leopard like Vista?

Thanks

Hmm, It works for me just fine. Are you using the "list view"? I just click the column heading and it sorts by that column.

Don't know what that is, but I don't use vista either.

Even if I list by column it does not change lots of things. Lets say I have 1000 files in downloads folder. Then I go to gmail and compose a msg then click "attach" which opens the small windows where you select the file.

That window does not let me to list according the name creation date etc.
