I have one question, every time I hear people talk about the new iPhone the data plan is always mentioned and at $30 a month. Do I have to buy the the internet plan? and is their any other hidden fee. All I want is just to continue my plan witch the contract is off the 2 year mark and not buy all this extra stuff that adds on the monthly bill.
Thanks

Basically you must have an AT&T voice plan and a data plan (either the newly $30 one or the corporate one if you need corporate services). No, according to AT&T it is not permitted to not have a data plan. No you cannot use your existing contract; you must re-up your contract at the time of activating the iPhone for two more years.

The only "hidden" costs that I'm aware of are taxes/surcharges/fees (just like always) and the fact that SMS, which was previously bundled in the iPhone plans, is no longer bundled, so if you want an SMS package you must also add that à la carte.
