Little folder with a ?, what does it mean?

Since swapping in my WD Passport's 120gb drive into my Macbook, when I boot up the computer, I first get a icon of a folder with a question mark in it, then it goes away and boots up. This normal?

Try this : System preferences -> Startup disk -> Choose your desired HD

Double thank you. I searched my problem, & found this. It worked great. For some reason I have network startup as one of my options.
