I can’t get over the “iPhone 11 Pro Max” name. It just seems so Un-Apple like and yet...it is.

Yes, but it's a larger screen (15" vs. 12.9").

True, but I still think the distance is key. There's also an argument to be made that the iPad, even the pro, is targeted more at media consumption than the 15" MBP, where the screen might be more important (for content *creation* most MBP users who are in the graphics end are plugging into much much more expensive displays if they need color accuracy, etc).

FWIW I have really no complaints about the display on my work 15"

In the auto industry, there's a trick of showing the back of a car when a specific car model is considered 'old'. Why? The front probably didn't change much and most of the work was done on redoing the taillights -- one of the cheapest places to update an aging model.

Same with the iPhone Pro.

"We've touched so many things."

Well, that's what s—"We've touched so many things!"

Why's you say that again?

We should also be hearing about final details and release dates for Apple's upcoming software updates, including iOS and iPadOS 13, macOS Catalina, watchOS 6, and tvOS 13. Apple's services such as Apple Arcade and Apple TV+ are another likely topic for discussion, and we could see additional hardware announcements such as a 10.2-inch iPad, Apple's rumored Tile-like item tracker and an updated Apple TV.

Apple is providing a live video stream on its website, via the Apple Events app on Apple TV, on Twitter, and for the first time, on YouTube.

In addition to Apple's video stream, we will be updating this article with live blog coverage--no need to refresh--and issuing Twitter updates through our @MacRumorsLive account as the keynote unfolds.

Highlights from the event and separate news stories regarding today's announcements will go out through our @MacRumors account.
