How many pro photographers are going to dump their thousands of dollars in gear and replace it with a phone?

Literally no one. Do you know any photographers though? They generally don't take their "thousands of dollars in gear" with them every time they leave the house, but they still care about the quality of photos they take when they don't have their camera with them. The photograpers I know actually do care about this stuff.

Know what I find funny about all this CPU talk.......
Years ago, when Apple did NOT have the fastest processor the Apple fans said CPU speed was not important - called it the megahertz myth. Now that they have a quick one, they rave about it.
Why is it suddenly a big deal?

That changed years ago. Steve Jobs was still alive. Why are you suddenly commenting on it?
