Good call

Did anyone notice the pic on the other computer? It was some picture of a flower (I think) that I didn't recognize. Something tells me that's Lion.
Of course it could just be a different picture. It's more fun to think this way, though.

Right! That desktop background is not in the current Snow Leopard, and Apple would never use a non official background

Anyone notice the desktop picture on the second iMac? I don't think I've seen that on OS X 10.6.

- looks like I was beaten to it.

Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; U; CPU iPhone OS 4_1 like Mac OS X; en-us) AppleWebKit/532.9 (KHTML, like Gecko) Mobile/8B117)

Anyone see te new video camera app????

These software updates in iLife are pretty gimmicky so far. More and more interfaces, more and more of the software trying to guess what you want to do and more and more wizard type interfaces (even if it is a pretty carousel) rather than intuitive paradigms.

Well to be honest, the iLife suite was already very good and up to date. You can only do so much more to them for the price we have to pay. iMovie was amazing though.

Years ago, iLife was one of the things that really made me go all the way and switch to Mac, but now I just couldn't care less. This stuff is all great for kids and parents or whatever, but none of these features are really worth all this time.

Come on, lets see some new hardware.

Some of you guys really need to relax- the event basically just started and this'll probably be the only software app we see today (besides Lion).

I agree every time Apple does an iLife release, they always do a demo. This isn't the first time.

I can't tell if you're being sarcastic, but you're right, they wouldn't. Apple puts a ton of effort into making stuff like this perfect. Notice the empty desktop and the default dock icons.
