Yawn... obviously not enough innovation to talk long enough about the new hardware, so Timmy is filling time waffling on about iOS...

Timmy doesn't realize people are interested in the laptops today.. they don't care about iToy updates.

Erm did you see the new desktop?

People on here who don't live in a bubble immediately commented on the need for Apple to do something.
The desktop that tilts for artists to draw on? That also starts at $3,000 for only 8gigs of ram, a mid range processor?

I dont know. I was really blown away when i first saw it. Then i sat down for awhile and really thought about it. Then i showed the key note to some everyday people and they couldn't have been less impressed. So ya know what? Its cool, but its not like some quantum leap forward in technology. That one desktop will be a very small niche market.

The surface book looked alright, but was really overpriced and i dont agree with microsoft's vision for the computer.

Holo lens and the upgrades to ms paint were the best. But holo lens wont see widespread adoption for quite some time. So its more of a proof of concept type 'o dealio right now.

So what am i left with? A bunch of stuff i look at and say "hm, thats kinda cool" that im not even remotely tempted to get because they didnt do anything that really made me feel like i had to have it to enrich my life in any significant way

Love the usual knee jerk negative replies on his thread already. It's like they're watching their first Apple keynote ever.

Could this be the last event held at Infinite loop? With all future events at AC2? I suppose a February/March event could be held at Infinite Loop.

I like Tim. At first i didn't but i do now.
I like him, but he really needs more energy and passion of he's headlining a keynote.
His drawl accent is starting to sound like he's bored and reading a script.
I'd rather Phil was up...
