I'm kind of liking the idea of the touchbar, but I'm not sold on it, and if the MBP doesn't have the SD port, this is fitting my needs less and less
My hands are tired from just thinking about it. I'd rather they not shoehorn a touch screen into a laptop just to "me too" Microsoft.Just imagine how awesome that touch bar would be if it were on the display and filled the entire area, aka a touchscreen.
As an example of why this is a problem, in any programming IDE I know that F8 is "step over" when I'm debugging, because it's been standardized that way forever.
Now it's.... some custom thing???
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA....They'll probably include one adapter
As an Editor..I would NEVER use that bar.. a mouse or trackpad is much easier.
yeah me either, just mentioned how it looked like the last lady was pecking at the keyboard. So you have a 15" or 13" screen right in front of you, but instead you're squinting at a little strip above the keyboard?
Perhaps I just don't get it.
Perhaps I really am just getting old.
There is no SD slot. They've shown it from all sides. They're banking on docking stations/monitors.I'm kind of liking the idea of the touchbar, but I'm not sold on it, and if the MBP doesn't have the SD port, this is fitting my needs less and less
Unlike a full touchscreen, the Touch Bar won't result in arm fatigue.Cannot help but thinking: isn't a full touch screen much more convenient for everything that was showcased today with the "magic toolbar"?
