So a newly purchased Iphone 7 cant be plugged into a new MBP?
Thats just good business...

Go to an Apple Store and ask them to swap it out... I'm sure they would - I know its different, but when headphones/cables break they ALWAYS replace for free, even out of warranty lol.

Looks great but I'll probably buy the 15" model next year. If the 13" performance is close to my maxed out 15" 2015 rMBP, I might switch to the smaller size.

Seriously all this "touch bar" focus is just stupid. I mean if you implemented entire full touchscreen on the new mbp then you would not need this gimmicky touch bar crap.

But of course that would require apple to do real work as in make macos work right. Implement full touch screen on the damn computer and you would do away with all these gimmicky features. The only feature that is worthy is the new touch ID chip. Other than the larger mac trackpad everything is so meh...please let the price be the same/cheaper.
Touch screen computers don't work. It is uncomfortable and there has been no good UI to allow both touch and mouse input seamlessly.

My hands are tired from just thinking about it. I'd rather they not shoehorn a touch screen into a laptop just to "me too" Microsoft.

You'd rather crimp your hands and fingers into a tiny strip of touch-sensitive keys awkwardly placed between the keyboard and screen?

These "previews" make me laugh! They're too tiny to use and the colorful icons will be distracting.

not that i need a laptop, sold my air to get an ipp 9.7 and haven't looked back (I do have an iMac and from late 2013 and it is still a great machine), but they almost had me sold on the idea of the touch bar until they started doing the first demo

I thought I would be really excited about the new Touch bar but seeing it being used in real life makes me realize a program called BetterTouchTool for the trackpad is so much more powerful and user friendly than Apple's implementation.

I don't know man. This is sort of disappointing for me. I expected better processors and more common ports available. I bet these will be crazy expensive also. I can't see using the touchbar thingy as a huge improvement. I expected better specs... :/
