"To ... create ... this product, we asked ourselves: 'what do consumers most want from an iOS device?' The answer, of course, is not a stable OS or better battery life, but an additional peripheral device that is easily misplaced.

Our engineers worked tirelessly to design a product which was both functional and gorgeous. The stylus ... sympathetically presses the screen, providing a unique function; both ... a distillation, and a purification, of a pointing device. The lumbering and inaccurate hand has been unapologetically replaced by a much more accurate, and appropriate, interface.

Simply put, it's the best finger we've ever designed."

Can I have your job? lol You must have the best job in the world to be able to do all that in one thought.

I instantly thought TV, being the biggest screen in most people's life. But particularly film: Maybe film streaming?

Or just maybe, a full-fledged Apple television. The "big screen" comment is really specific and reminds me more of Hollywood and cinemas than my little flat screen.

Simply put, it's the best finger we've ever designed."

I guess in that case we could say that today Apple is giving us the finger.

Just the opposite for me. ATV buying the moment they open the doors for sale. If I can drop by an Apple store today in this 98 degree weather I will. iPhone, not so much until iPhone 7.
haha this cali weather is brutal right now

I hope the big screen comment is referring to the iPad - these days that is MY big screen. I have no use for an Apple TV since I have no interest owning a television.

Interesting... the stage looks so blank. No Demos today I guess.

EDIT: Nevermind, I think I see a black box on the stage. Looks like the Demo desk.
