$1999 for the 8GB/256GB model is a bit steep. I guess that's how they are keeping the MacBook Air relevant. The 13" Air is $1799 with 256GB and 8GB. $200 for a faster processor, Retina Display, extra ports, etc. isn't bad by Apple standards, but it is still a $2000 product.
