Too many people trying to watch it at once and too much of a strain in the servers.

They did it a few years ago where only people with Apple devices could watch it but theirs too many apple devices out there now.

Doubt it. Just use a CDN and it'll cope fine. If the BBC managed live multi-channel Olympics coverage for two weeks, I'm sure Apple can broadcast one video for an hour.

I'm guessing that Apple don't see much benefit in providing a live stream.

To be honest, I was really hoping that it wouldn't look like the ones posted on this forum. I am so disappointed because of the look. :( Such a bummer. Might have to see it in person for a better look.

T-mobile still does not get the iPhone 5. 5 providers in Canada, 3 providers in Australia, 1 in Singapore and 3 in the US.

2 years to design that johnny your slipping fella its just thats roll out the same design over and over again, i think apple has lost its style :(

First, his name is Jony. Second, he probably had that design for quite awhile. He is limited by (a) budget to keep the price of the phone in check so we can afford it and (b) technology that hasn't caught up with what he may want to do.

"The average customer uses over 100 apps" ... that can't be true. I use about 5.

I think that he should have said "has over 100 apps" there's 155 on my iPhone, but I only regularly use 10 or so. Saying "uses over 100 apps" is just marketing aimed at developers.

I much prefer the 4S design. The iphone 5 design reminds me of the current ipod touch which I didn't like holding.

Same. I hate how thin the touch is. Thinner/smaller isn't always better. It feels so much more fragile. ):

I guess we will never have a revolutonary keynote like when the first iPhone and the second iPhone were presented. But it's an upgrade. Consumers should be happy they dont have to update every year to have a good iphone.

Thank god I left T-Mobile a year ago, great speed when you have it but coverage was awful.

Great the iPhone 4ss is finally here. So, what does Ive do all day? It's all the same from Apple anymore.

AAPL is taking a beating right now. Guess investors weren't impressed.

It's flat as I look at it. Everyone knew what was coming out so this shouldn't be a big shock to anyone, and guess what, it isn't.

A China Mobile announcement would likely have boosted the stock a bit.

I guess we're at this stage of The Apple Product Cycle:

The haters offer their assessment. The forums are ablaze with vitriolic rage. Haters pan the device for being less powerful than a Cray X1 while zealots counter that it is both smaller and lighter than a Buick Regal. The virtual slap-fight goes on and on, until obscure technical nuances like, “Will it play multiplexed Ogg Vorbis streams?” become matters of life and death.
