If this Apple Watch can measure blood pressure and/or glucose monitoring, I might buy one. I'm at risk for both as I get older. Problem is I've got a lot of crap to buy this autumn.

Even if it does, your doctor will never take it into consideration because Apple Watch is not FDA approved.
 
I sometimes have anxiety, especially when waiting for big news and every time my phone vibes my heart rate spikes. So I could see that accidentally going off for me all the time.

I owned a series 1 and 2 apple watch but to be honest it sat on its dock most of the time. If it worked independently of the iphone i would consider buying another one. I found, for instance, the weather for weather underground wouldn’t update regularly unless I kept opening the wu app on the iphone. It was the same for several apps, so i got rid of them.
