18 hours does not need to be 24 hours. The majority charge their devices on a daily basis anyway, it's no different than charging your iPhone regularly. How many individuals actually require 24 hours of extended battery life on your Apple Watch? Not too many.

I am just saying Apple gets carried away with its terms and misleads a tad bit with "all day vs most of the day."
