Ugh.. its always the same battery life -_-

Thats a big concern for me. I wear my Garmin for two weeks before needing a charge. That includes tracking my workouts and bike rides as well. I want to get an iWatch but I don't want to have charge it all the time.

How long will it last if I do a 2 hour mountain bike ride?

(were we expecting battery life to go down dramatically or something? When will apple EVER step up battery efficiency ughhhhh.. and why are people cheering that)

I'll give Apple this, if it actually functions as pitched it really is "innovative".

Now if it didn't require an iPhone I'd possibly consider it for my dad... if he didn't hate wearing watches.

This is technology done right. When technology can save your life it is really valuable. Think of all the elderly who may fall or with heart conditions... this can save their life. This is way more important than the iPhone to me.

Agreed!!

I’ve been calling for this for years! Based off the old necklace senors sold on late night TV.

That gold stainless looks hot. Wonder how expensive it will be.

All current bands will work with the new watches.

Why are you so uncomfortable Jeff? Jeez... ECG is really nice, I could need that myself as I struggle with sudden drops in heart rates which often can cause me to faint so it's nice if the watch could warn me before I suddenly hit the floor face first...

Will the ECG function do more than record readings? Alerts? Call for medical help?

I'm not sure this will provide enough, if any, notice to prevent acute issues as they happen.
