iPhone X2 Pro

iPhone X2
($699)
6.1" LCD + 3 GB (667 MB) + 64 GB
where X2 simply means "2nd-Gen iPhoneX-style" iPhone.

AAPL could go with that, or possibly even reverse it to the 2X.

It's fairly obvious they MUST pick & start using something now that has legs ... meaning, NO changes NEXT year @ this time, except for a bump-up in the numbering !

The Number after the DRAM number represents "Usable" DRAM.

The Dedicated Burst Photo DRAM will enable Full-Res 12 Mpx photo capture @ 120 fps ... for very short periods ... ONLY 14 photos, so ONLY 0.12 secs of capture duration ... but, it's an important step in the right direction ! ... & it will finally put some visibility into an area that has been neglected by AAPL !

Anyone know of a livestream that does NOT refresh automatically? Or at least one that won't bounce me up to the top of the page automatically? I'm frequently away from my PC and when I come back the livestream has scrolled up and I missed a bunch of stuff. If I scroll down to see it the livestream keeps bouncing me back up, really annoying.

Try disabling auto-refresh with the help of an extension if you're using Chrome.

Apple's "Gather round" event at the Steve Jobs Theater at Apple Park begins at 10:00 a.m. Pacific Time, where it is widely expected to unveil three new iPhones (XS, XS Max, and XR) as well as new, slightly larger Apple Watch models.

We should also be hearing final details and the official release date for iOS 12, and likely macOS Mojave, watchOS 5, and tvOS 12 as well. And, of course, there may be other announcements and surprises in the cards.

Apple itself leaked a number of details this morning by prematurely updating its store site maps, and we have a summary of what's been revealed right here.

Apple is providing a live video stream on its website, via the Apple Events app on Apple TV, and on Twitter. We've shared instructions on how to watch along with a list of when the keynote starts in time zones around the world.

In addition to Apple's video stream, we will be updating this article with live blog coverage--no need to refresh--and issuing Twitter updates through our @MacRumorsLive account as the keynote unfolds.

Highlights from the event and separate news stories regarding today's announcements will go out through our @MacRumors account.

Apple's online store is currently down in advance of the event. It should be accessible again shortly after the keynote.

I can’t wait. My bank manager is panicking, I gave him Apple popcorn.

I'm always jealous of what looks like crisp sunny weather in Cupertino during these events. Compared to the East Coast where today is grey, cloudy and humid...

Look at how the curve of the table matches the curve of the tile. That attention to detail in their products is one thing that has made Apple so special. Over recent years that attention has seemed to wane. Hoping they get back to that level of focus/detail.

Until tou see the notch + protuberant lens

Those two Apple staff people blocking access to the theater look goofy. I wonder if they were instructed to spread their legs apart like that in order to achieve maximum blocking of the staircase?

So, today of all days, my phone this morning shut down unexpectedly and for the first time, and gave me the message "The phone experience and unexpected shutdown <blah blah> battery was unable to deliver peak power <blah blah> performance management has been applied". Seriously? That is the most suspicious timing for this to happen.

No new SE, no new iPad mini, no Mac news, no interest.

So you know that they are working on Macs, and that they ARE probably going to announce a new ~600.00 phone, it just isn’t going to be called SE.

But since the phone has changed names and the Mac computers aren’t being announced today you’re not interested.

Got it.

I just hope they don't increase the new Apple Watch prices.
The Apple watch is what will get me to switch to Apple not the Iphone. I think it is a great concept and useful. It also looks really good. I carry around a my grandfathers 14k railroad pocket watch now. Lol old skool

Will there be a "Oh, one more thing" at the end?

I’m hoping they have something we don’t know about or something that wasn’t leaked. I am actually shocked the amount of material that was leaked within the last six hours, its almost as bad as the HomePod code that was leaked last year. Perhaps they might announce the iPads at least and launch them later on.

You are aware that point about the SE is not (only) the price, but its size?

And it’s nice that Apple is "working on new Macs". You know what would even be better? Releasing new Macs.
