I can't imagine the amount of junk mail people are going to get due to this Cards app. I thought Apple was environmentally friendly?

I always forget how many people complain on here. You guys ruin the Keynote discussion. We all know that Apple goes through stats and previously mentioned features before getting to the "good stuff." We also all know that companies develop similar products for their own devices. Complaining isn't necessary and no one is making you purchase these new devices and no one is making you upgrade to iOS 5.

Okay... back to reading the live blogs.

Since they are just doing a spec bump, they have to fill the space somehow. :p

This is a normal keynote.

In past events Apple would have developers go on stage (5-8 developers) to fill about an hour worth of time, the new iPhone does't get revealed until the last 30 minutes of the event.

Sometimes I'm sick of all business people. WHy the hell they bother to compare Lion with Windows7? Lion is in the same league as Vista

To sum up iOS 5:

-Notifications copied from Android
-Twitter integration copied from... Twitter
-iMessage copied from Blackberry Messenger
-Achievements copied from Steam
-Photo button copied from every phone that has had a camera ever
-Safari reader that "strips out all the junk" (besides iAds)
-Tabbed browsing (revolutionary!)
-Wireless updates copied from Android

Awesome.

Wow, tabbed browsing!! How innovative!!

Spoon fed, if they just gave you everything that's already out there at one time they'd be sitting around with their thumbs up their asses. I give my 1yr old a single peanut butter crunch at a time, I'm useful to him. I give him the whole box, I no longer exist.

Seriously what is with the live blogs today? Engadget crashed, arstechnica crashed, and now thisismynext isn't refreshing for me either.

In the alternate reality of MacRumors, this is normal. MR does not represent any opinion, any market, any reality, apart from the one that is created here.

All we need now is a 4+" screen copied from... well, take your pic. ;)
