I'm going to see how watchOS 3 does on my 42mm SS, but I'm probably not going to upgrade this year. These are some nice updates, and seem to address some of the issues I've had with performance, but the Watch is expensive enough that I'm going to wait it out. Especially since I'm not going to sell my Series 1 Apple Watch and keep it forever in my collection, so I'm going to stretch out the life of it for a bit longer.

I'm running the latest beta on my 38mm Space Gray Sport right now and it's actually doing better than 2.2.2, which picked up this nasty habit of locking itself while still on my wrist at least once an hour. It's not a mind-blowing improvement, but it's definitely better. The draw-to-reply feature in imessages is fairly handy as well, though I'd hate to try writing more than a short sentence with it. Certainly better than the preset canned replies though.
