Apple promotes digital audio and passthrough power as two benefits of the Lightning port, which allows for features such as active noise cancellation that are not possible with an analog port like the 3.5mm audio jack.

Now that's a rather weird message considering that this has been possible ever since the Lightning connector was first introduced, and thus has nothing whatsoever to do with iPhone 7 or the removal of a connector. Feels like Apple Marketing really got into desperation mode here, "how can we promote a lost feature?"

Damn, this is so tempting. I don't want a giant iPhone, but oh man. As a photographer, this is pulling at me hard, because I don't always have my big dSLR on me but I always have my iPhone. But I really don't want a huge iPhone. GAH!
I phone the 6s plus. I will be getting the 7 (no plus). It's bulky and not easy to carry around and I have a purse. I like to put my phone in the back pocket.

I like those new AirPods - for what they can do… but think they’d fall out of my ears, and that the bass on them wouldn’t be enough

I bet airpod will gonna be renamed as droppod.

Extreme apple ways of cashing in from the consumers.

Of COURSE they made the Airpods only in white (just like their wall charger / lightning cable)... what about a black option Apple? Hmmm?
