I think it's a travesty that Macs are not being introduced and haven't been for a year and a half.

It is a significant failure that Mac updates have been so few and far between, even if they couldn't get exactly the chipsets they desired, but as far as today's event, Macs are highly unlikely today - that's not the way they roll. Next month you'll probably be happy.

I'm not upgrading from my 6s Plus, but even if I was, a Lightning Adapter would solve that problem in an instant.

That may be true, but I think most informed consumers will skip this 'update'.

I'm well-informed, much like many others. It's not about having a phone that's "worth it". It's about being up to date and simply enjoying the products. I will enjoy several of the newer features. It's all "to each their own". No worries if you don't want to get the 7.
