What a hoax.... They removed the audio inlet to replace it with a 159$(for me probably 200 Euro in Italy). This is the way apple is facing downward sales with more expensive iPhone basically because if u wanna charge your iPhone an use a headset in the same time u have to buy the "great" AirPods at outrageous prices and with 5 hours of battery life.
Also... They never said how much time it will take for the case to charge those pesky airpods... Most probably about an hour???

Yeah, but that is not what Apple wants, is it? They specifically mention the common innards!
If they were really convinced about the wireless headphones, they'd have left the 3.5 mm jacks alone and given us the choice to go wireless, while wanting us to throw away the $200 headphones; more adapters just what we need!
Or, they could've gone 2.5 mm - in these days of nano-tubes, both silicon and carbon, I am sure they can make a better 2.5 mm jack than the fragile ones from a decade ago!
