Craig gives me hope for Apple.

But I suppose he is part of the decision makers in what is added to macOS and iOS?

Because if this is the case, then I'm not very hopeful. He sure gives amazing presentations, but that's not enough.

They are making messages appeal to a younger demographic, ones that have grown up over the last few years using a combination of apps such as snapchat and whatsapp.

Personally I think it looks very ''myspace' and 'Bebo' but hey I guess this is the future of digital interaction.

I have to say Craig, all of these thoughtful additions to make messages more personal is really nice.

But remember when 'nudges' were first introduced on MSN Messenger? These features are going to get abused/spammed to the hilt by almost everybody under the age of 13.

Ugh I remember that - made me want to reach through the screen and shake the other party.

Ripping this is stupid. Messages is probably the most used Apple app and its how people communicate.. they made it very rich.. I think it's great. I'm not saying ignore no hardware updates or whatever.. but software wise this is great.
It's huge. Android still doesn't get messaging. They completely suck at it.
