5 grand!!!!!! HahahahahahHhahaha, and it's NOT module, AND it costs more then the TOP END Surface Studio??

Wow... courage Apple... courage...

Talk about comparing Apples and and pieces of grass. How is that even a comparison. The Top end Surface Studio is more closely compared to a mid-range 27" iMac. There is no comparison between the top-end studio and the the iMac Pro. The top-end Studio is $4,199 with an I7CPU and 4GB of VRam. The better comparison is that MS is charging 2x the price of the 27" iMac for a smaller lower resolution screen with touch.

Did anyone catch the specs for the base model iMac Pro?

8-core is about all I caught. LOL

Wow, replacing JPG? That's a bit ballsy. Will they upgrade old videos and photos to be better optimized and save storage space?

The 5k iMac went to down to pre-retina levels within a year. Sometimes that's the price you pay to be an Early adopter.

They probably had to. I would argue the notebook market is much larger the desktop market for Apple. It has been for a decade really.

Speaking of "...basically better understand what you want. Syncs across all of a user's Apple devices" How about 5GB of iCloud storage per owned device mr. deep learning?

iMac Pro uses full on pro-grade components. Compare the price to the other professional workstations. If you're bitching about the price, the iMac Pro was not meant for you.

With a 500W power supply? That thing will never work flat out without melting.

i dont know why i even get excited for these anymore.. im just waiting for Macbooks to justify their price and be worth upgrading to but i should have known better, disappointment is common with Apple. All they did was lower the 13" $200 from its already overpriced starting point and update to kaby lake... really...
