I went into one of my local Apple Stores (there are 3 ) this afternoon and the place was nearly empty. A bit of a throng at the Genius bar but otherwise there were groups of employees standing around talking to each other. The mall won't allow people in until 6 AM anyway.

I went in to fiddle with their display iPhones to get hands-on for iOS 7 before upgrading my own iPhone 5. Meh. Not impressed enough to upgrade but will likely spring for a new iPhone 5s around Thanksgiving and give my iP5 to my son.

the only thing i can think of that i would be less likely to waste my time doing than standing in line for the new iphone is watching a live feed of someone else doing it

I've never camped out for any product so I have no idea about the etiquette but I'm guessing if people either pee or poop into a milk jug with a hole in it, that's bad? LOL
