Watching the bit on CarPlay makes me wish Apple would do more to push the Automakers to make over the air CarPlay more than just a "luxury" item, particularly when Apple has allowed it for years already.

iPad is coming closer and closer to replacing the Mac, which of course, is what Apple wants.

It's a windowing mechanism away. Even with all this, the Windowing isn't quite there yet.

Mouse support?

Without mouse support and Xcode for iPad the update is maybe a nice to have but other than that... yawn. For my use case not too helpful.
The "Pro" in the name is not justified without at least mouse support

Impressive updates for iPad OS... hopefully we'll be able to install fonts that are outside of the App Store. I have a custom font (my handwriting) that I use on my iPad now and would like to use in iPad OS.

Lots of oops with text editing. Even the expert has problems.

*** BUT yes, I do wish Mouse support could be a feature, that would be a massive improvement.

Seems like they still need to work out some kinks with the new editing because this guy keeps having little problems, and to be frank, stuff like that is what makes working on an iPad suck. Hopefully they continue to work it out before release.

This unlocks my biggest concern. I want some of the gestures to match on iPadOS and iOS to be similar. Hopefully iPadOS isn't something we have to completely relearn.

That's the problem with Apple these days... inconsistency.
