The problem with gestures is they're invisible so there's no easy way to learn and remember them without constant repetition.

Yep, but it seems like Apple are trying too hard to build desktop features into essentially a touch-screen device.

Without full mouse and keyboard support it's going to be unintuitive. Nothing beats keyboard and mouse imo.

If you have used the Mac in the last 12 years, three finger gestures shouldn’t be an issue.

Same here, I COULD do beta's, but my experience has been terrible with that. So..we wait until Sept.

there are things on iPhone I take for granted, so a beta breaking something like CarPlay would be a problem.
