They carry 7 but I have also read they carry 1800 and 800.

I upgraded from a 3S and it's still a tank. Keep it as a back up. But what I'm really wanting is to use LTE.

Since I live in spain, it depends on if the manager will do it for me, I mean hell, I bought the damn extended and accidental warranty. I didn't know I wouldn't have LTE. But I saw on another thread where you can jailbreak it and choose your band, therefore giving me 4g LTE. Is this possible?

And can someone explain what programs to use?

    Much obliged

you're limited because of the hardware on the phone; the LTE chip on the phone you have doesn't support the bands your carrier has LTE for (assuming they offer LTE)

Doing the research on which bands your device supports and which bands your carrier utilizes would have been a smart move BEFORE buying the phone.

    No.
Jailbreaking your phone cannot change your LTE band frequencies.
Those are preset and cannot be altered.

I know it would have been smart, but it was a birthday present and I was leaving USA ASAP. I bought the accidental insurance for two years hoping if I damaged it, I could get it replaced here in spain.
