Did Live Location stop working for anyone else with the 17.2 update? Can they ever make an update without breaking something that worked previously?

Thanks. I don’t know what it is about this feature but it’s hit or miss with every update for my family and I.
You always seem to have the best luck with this stuff. At least it wasn't about HomeKit. lol
This is the first thing I check after every update. Was working perfectly fine before updating all our devices yesterday. Gave it a day in hopes the servers were just clogged but same old story. I dunno anymore lol.
Speaking of HomeKit, now that my AppleTVs are on the same version as the HomePods, it got better. AppleTV as a home hub = HomeKit winning.
I have the same problem. I updated to iOS 17.2 and now I can't see live updates for people anymore. I have to kill the Find My app and restart it to see their current position but it's not live after that (I have to keep killing and starting Find My app to update their location).
Apple needs to devote more time and money on QA. There's always something new that breaks with every release, it's just a matter of encountering the bugs.
Awful. Was working fine up until 17.2. Gonna send a bug report. I get Live location but very sporadically and it doesn’t last either. Switches to “Now” after a few seconds.
Looks like there’s all kinds of issues with Find My…. I forgot to mention that all the notifications we set up for for when we leave/arrive at home/work/school disappeared. Also, all our shared AirTags reset and they stopped being shared.

Hopefully you weren't driving past a gentlemen's club when your location froze on your wife's phone. That always seems to happen to me...
Looks like there’s a 17.2.1 in the works. Hopefully it’s addressed when that update comes.
Does she move in real time though or does it update very minute or more? She has the green pulsating background around her location? If so, what version of iOS are you both on?
