1. I have not yet read the manual and 2. There doesn't seem to be a way to do so yet.
It seems we got a much faster and much improved version of iCloud shared library and not iCloud Photo Library.
I'm thinking that's the kicker. It's not actually "Photos" app that's on the Mac and iOS. Also betting the Apple TV team didn't know about Live Photos until late in the game.
Could always just use airplay off your iphone to show live photo's. I haven't got my atv4 yet but that works fine on the atv3 so I would say it would also work on the atv4.
