Has anyone got live voicemail to work? I don’t see the option to turn it on or off in settings.

I have an iPhone 11 series.

I went to general>about>physical sim, and it shows Verizon 55.1

It works for me, however with live voicemail on my callers are abruptly cut off after 1:55. If I turn it off callers can leave the usual 3 minute voicemail.

It’s not actually related to your carrier. It’s done completely by the phone and is also how you can leave Live Voicemail on devices that don’t even have a cellular plan.

Check your device region and language. Your region must be “United States” or “Canada” and your primary language must be “English (US)” or “English (Canada)”

Ok so I tried this on another iPhone and experienced the same issue. The caller abruptly gets disconnected after 1:55. It seems like iOS is limiting the length of voicemail messages, but cuts the caller off without notification.

Verizon limits to three minutes, but ends the call with notification.

Can anyone else confirm that this is what they are seeing?
