Desktop Live wallpapers in iOS 7?

Anyone reckon we'll see mandatory moving backgrounds with the next iOS?
Android devices seem to have them and they look pretty nice.

Any thoughts?

I think it's a waste of battery on a device that already has a mediocre battery to begin with.

Seems unnecessary to me. Why would it be mandatory?
