Apps LiveZapp App - anyone tried it?

I can't find info about this app!

Says it hasn't been tested on the EyeTV Netstream but wondered if anyone had tried it?

I'm hoping to buy the Elagato 4Sat Netstream box and this app looks perfect.

this app was never tested with Netstream, because we have no one here.
The App was tested with EyeTV connected to a Netstream box. This works perfectly. But you need an additional Mac.
I could send you an invite for our latest development build in TestFlight, when you are interested in testing it directly with the Netstream box ;-)

When I buy the Netstream box it will be connected to a Mac Mini, is that what you meant?

The Netstream box is running in your network. The EyeTV software on your Mac automatically finds your Netstream, is connecting to it and is the server for LiveZapp.
 
Yes. This was tested.
Theoretically you could connect directly to the Netstream box (without a Mac with EyeTV as a server) but this was not tested by us.
 
Do you have videos of the app running?
Can't seem to find any info about it online
 
I would like to test the latest build and see if it works with the netstream directly. I've got the app working now through a Mac and it works well.

I've got a Netstream on my network which is used with a Mac mini running EyeTV. I did have to get the EyeTV Device Token to add to LiveZapp so I could get all the functions to work. I get the Guide and see the recordings that I've made which work well. I would prefer to just be able to connect to the NetStream device direct as I just use the Mac Mini as my PVR. Hope this helps.

I'm also on TestFlight and would love to test the applications that you release and provide feedback.

You don't need a USB-C cable. You need to load the TestFlight App in the TV-AppStore. I will send you an email with instructions how to redeem the code in TestFlight App. Then you could install the app like any other app.

Sorry if I'm in the wrong place or asking a dumb question. I have an eyeTV attached to an always on iMac in another room and I'd love to be able to use it (for live TV and recordings) on my Apple TV 4 just like I can on my iPad. I downloaded the LiveZapp app and followed the instructions as best I could but I didn't manage to get it working - the problem seemed to be in obtaining a "token"? If you have any ideas or know of some simple to follow instructions I'd be very grateful.

You just need to use the assistant in the settings menu. You need the official EyeTV app for iPhone or iPad to get a token.

It is normally available in the AppStore in the U.S.
Just search for "LiveZapp" or for "EyeTV"

I have a EyeTV netstream 4 Sat and i like to Test it.
I'm from Germany and my English is not the best.
I have an Apple TV 4

In the meantime we've tested the app with the NetStream 4C. it's not working directly without an EyeTV in the middle. I think it's the same with 4Sat. You need to connect your 4Sat to a Mac with EyeTV.
The Netstream products of Elgato are completely closed source. Very sad...

I've just redeemed the test code and it says that the app is unavailable.

Any ideas?
