Been a while since I've posted in here, but I did a thing. Only took nearly a year but I finally made a video of the camper. Filming videos makes me feel like a lobotomy would probably be more fun. Let me know where I can improve. 🖤

Also, the gimbal has a mind of its own I swear its not me.

Good to see you post again. Looking forward to watching the video later tonight.

It is me and it is my video. This is my thread and this is my content. I posted the video to this thread along with “I finally made a video of my camper.”

I thought you were from California? Your vehicles all say New York...

Right but the poster is driving all over the planet, looks like maybe he was in NYC, vs. the tags on his actual vehicle indicate CA.
Seriously, Texas_Toast, what business or concern of yours is the registration/licensing of someone else's vehicle(s) anyway?
Thank you. My head was starting to hurt.

And since this apparently matters, I recently lived in Cali which was when/where I bought the truck. And right now I’m in New York which is where I grew up. But also, as D.T. mentioned, this whole thread is about me and the truck being all over the place, so...🤔

It was genuine question. No need for people to get snotty about things...

Hm, well, Mr "Toast," it seems to me that what you perceive as other posters "getting snotty" actually began in response to a specific situation, and perhaps not-so-coincidentally right about the time you started asking questions which may or may not have been appropriate, relevant or respectful of someone's privacy. Again, what difference does it make to you in which state someone else's vehicle(s) are registered and which plates are on the vehicle? What would even have prompted you to bring up such an off-the-wall and frankly rather weird issue in the first place?

Maybe you could take a look at your own behavior in this thread?.....

As I’ve mentioned before, I’m not a photographer and I don’t know much about editing.

That said, I’m curious if a photo as washed out as the one below can be fixed to look more natural via Lightroom. I’ve been messing with it on my phone and while I did improve it, it still looks funky.

To the experts: Is lighting this bad too far gone to properly correct?

(Side note: The quality is poor because this is a screen grab from a video.)

That's a tough lighting situation with the full sun in the background, the shade in the foreground and the truck right in the middle. You will not be able to recover the background - the details were not captured in the original image, so there is nothing to fix or bring back.

Thank you. That was kind of what I figured.

It’s usually better to either bracket your shots (one for the sunny bit and one for the shade) in a difficult image like this. Or under expose slightly as it’s easier to recover shadows than it is to recover blown highlights.

Some Apple stores around the US are open only for "express services," where one makes an appointment to go in to see someone at the Genius Bar or to pick up an item which was ordered online and either in stock at the store or shipped to the store for customer pickup, or possibly to meet with someone in order to look at and decide upon buying a particular item or two. I don't know how many are actually fully open now for complete services but hopefully that will happen soon as things begin to open up around the country and as more and more people are vaccinated.
