Checking to see if I’m going crazy. Installed this screen protector before I even turned on the phone.

Coming from a naked iPhone XR to now a 14 pro, the screen has some wicked glare. Is this just a common theme with glass screen protectors or was this just a poor brand choice?

Don't know about glare but the grain/shimmer from the adhesive was horrible. Didn't stay on the phone long.

Great installation method, poor product.

Lol sadly yes. Glass screen protectors do not have an anti-reflective coating built in, so they're going to reflect everything like a mirror.

The iPhone screen has a light layer of anti-reflective properties built within the glass itself (I believe underneath the glass iirc), so when you put on a screen protector it kind of negates that effect.

To my knowledge there isnt any REAL screen protector with anti-reflective properties that isn't a matte protector. It would cost too much money for every item to produce for most manufactures.
