Loading Averages : Some Powerbook Analysis

I just opened my iStat Pro to find some pretty large load averages for my current workload...

As you can see from the processes Im not running anything very strenuios!

Any reasons why it would be so high?

EDIT: OH and incase this turns into some huge anti-piracy war Im downloading linux for a friend at school over the easter weekend!
