Loading circle animation flickers

This is not the end of the world of course, but I wonder if anyone else has noticed this.

The little circle loader next to the 3G/wifi icon seems to flicker a lot as it spins. Happens with app downloads, email etc.

I've been seeing this as well, intermittantly, when launching iTunes Store, App Store + others. Not a nightmare -- but still annoying.
