Loading downloaded files. .exe, .sitx, .wmv

New to Mac, how do we install .exe, .wmv files and others. I realize that there are some that we cannot use however I know that there are alot that we can use with MacBook.

Any help would be great

.exe are windows only.

.wmv you need something called flip4mac to play them, while you are at it you may as well install perian.

.sitx you need stuffit expander, again you may as well install The Unarchiver
