Loading Gm on a JB device

Ok so I only jailbroke for winterboard so I could get a different sms tone, and now with the 4.1 update, I decided I can live without the sms tone. If I were to just install the GM on top of my JB would it simply wipe out cydia and winterboard? Or do I need to do something more? Thanks in advance for the help!

It will just wipe out cydia and winterboard like you said. After upgrading from a jailbroken device I like to use the Reset All Settings feature to just ensure a smoother experience.

yeah it will wipe them both, but you will lose the jailbreak and everything jb related, and who knows when a new jb for a new vulnerability will come out if you care for jb in the near future...
