I'm a new Mac user, bought a mac book pro last month, and I can't seem to get my printer software disc to work on my mac?

I am using the correct disc, and my daughter who is away at college downloaded it last time she was here and she has a mac book and she
just put the cd in and it went from there.

I have an HP Photosmart C6180 All in one with blue tooth wireless printing.

I put the disc in and nothing happens, however other discs such as dvd's work just fine, so the disc drive is working.........

Any suggestions.......and yes I am a total noob to Mac's

Thanks in advance!

The disk you have is probably for Windows.
To install the printer, click the Bluetooh logo on the menubar. Looks like this:

Choose 'Set up Bluetooth Device'-->Select 'Printer'.

Follow the instructions and the printer should install automatically.

Thank you very much for your reply! :)

The disc is for Mac not windows, but it was damaged (I just found out)

However, I was able to install enough to at least get it to print!

Finally! Thank you, thank you, thank you! :D
