Hi, to begin with, I've searched the web for an answer to this problem from threads that range up to several years old. Every solution that people have found seems not to work for me. I searched this site a bit and didn't find anything initially. So to start off, here are my system specs.
-Late 2008 Macbook Pro
-OS X v. 10.5.8
-2.53 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo
-4 GB 1067 MHz DDR3
-Using Airport through an Airport Express (WPA2 security)
My problem is that not so long ago my Macbook started refusing to load up certain pages. I can't pinpoint it to anything I did to the Mac. Many times it will not load video. I can access a lot of sites, but not any link within that site. It will just load until it times out. I'm mostly using Firefox but, have tried Safari with the same outcome. I have a pc, and there are 2 other laptops running Windows that all work fine connecting through my wireless signal.
I've updated my software, erased cookies and all that junk, changed my router from a Linksys to an Apple Router, checked with my ISP (Use dynamic DNS), tried direct contact with ethernet cable, and more I can't think of off
hand.
I should mention that my Mac is bootcamped with Windows and on that partition everything works fine. Also, everything seems to work ok when connecting through other signals.
I've called apple and they won't help me unless I pay around $50. And there's no guarantee that they will find a solution. So I'm hoping to find something here before I have to pay out of pocket for something I bet is probably simple.
If anyone can help me out I'd sincerely appreciate it. Thanks.
