Why does even Apple stores not have local stock of highest end model iPads ever?

I always see one high end model below max. Not saying it is not possible just rare. Most definitely happens at Apple authorized retailers though. Only one exception.

In Los Angeles area and there's stock of the top-end models at the local Apple Stores.

Well, not right now but usually.

Usually, yes. Before the recent refresh, all of the iPads used to be available for same-day pickup. Granted, I don't know if they carry the nano-coated versions.

Makes sense with the film industry and all. The Bay Area often has higher end SKUs as well.
