locate me feature not working in google maps

i jailbroke 1.1.3 with the newest ijailbreak.

I got everything else to work but the faux gps feature in the new google maps. I tried the fix with downloading navizon but all that happens when i switch it off and try to locate the initial time, it asks me to sign up or log in

any help would be much appreciated

It's a known issue.

But there is a 3rd party app that will do that for you, is not like the version with all the drop pins, but does a good job.
Check on your Installer for LocateMe.

where are u located...there might not be anything nearby

oh, sorry to include, im on a touch, not an iphone so locate me doesn't work without the cell triangulation

and, im 10 miles outside of NY, so definitely always near something
