A friend of mine about to move out of her BF's house next week. Long story short - he's a total jerk, very controlling, and is emotionally abusive. He has all her passwords so I'm helping her create new accounts to use once she's out of the house.
She has an iPad but of course he has her apple ID and password. If she turns off Find My iPhone, factory resets it and creates a new apple account, will he have any way of tracking her via the iPad? It wouldn't surprise me if he copied down the serial number from the settings. (I have no idea if anything can be done with that info?)
She's already getting a new phone so she'll start fresh with a new acct and number but she doesn't want to ditch the iPad if she doesn't have to.
