iPhone 14 Pro Location based alerts not working

I haven’t used them since the iPhone 5, mainly because I was unsure as to whether or not it caused GPS to be on all the time (still don’t know).

I’ve set some up on my 14 Pro multiple times and they don’t work. I use Siri, and the reminder is in the reminders app with the location under it, but I get no alert. It’s just still sitting there in the app with no change.

As far as I know, I have all the settings correct (location services, privacy, notifications, etc.). I’ve toggled on and off the settings and still nothing.

Anyone else have the same issue?

I did notice this on my Apple Watch Series 5. The option for changing location access and for precise location are grayed out. Maybe this has something to do with it? I would think it would still work on the phone. And the two devices are mirroring I think.

Ok, pretty sure it’s the watch that’s the problem. Any help would be appreciated.
