Location based focus not working?

Has anybody been able to set a focus based on a not predefined location like "work" or "home"?
You can search for an address, but it doesn't seem to give any results you can select.
I'm guessing it's a bug or am I doing something wrong?

I just set one up for work using location so I'll find out tomorrow.. Hope it works like it's supposed to
