Is anybody else having problems with location-based reminders? When I set it to remind me to do something when I get home, even though my home location is correctly set, nothing happens. Is there something I’m doing wrong?

In the past I’ve set location-based reminders but they never went off when I was at the destination. Every new iOS update I try it out again. On Sunday I set a test one to remind me to do something when I arrived home, not really expecting it to work, and it actually worked! With the current COVID-19 situation and working from home, I’ve not been able to test since but I am out at the weekend so will set another couple of location-based test reminders to see if it wasn’t a fluke!

To update.

I added a location-based reminder for when I arrived at the supermarket and the reminder appeared when I got there. I then set a location-based reminder to remind me of something when I got home. The reminder appeared when I got home.

Later I had to go shopping in the town centre, so I set a test location-based reminder for a shop I was going to. At the entrance: no reminder. When in-store: no reminder. I later walked by the store at the back and the reminder then ’fired’. I looked at the map when adding the reminder and I assume the blue circle is the radius in which the reminder will ‘fire’. Why it didn’t when the entrance and store were well within the blue circle I’m not sure. Maybe a more built up area affects the GPS?

Bumping this thread because I can't get them to work at all these days. Time-based reminders work, location-based do nothing. Has anyone found any solves? Thanks.

Also posted here, since there seem to be two, and I'm desperate!

They work about 50% of the time for me. Most of the time they do work it seems to be on a 15 or 20 minute delay which kind of defeats the purpose. This is why I'm not excited about the location based smart lists and so forth that are supposed to be coming in iOS 15. I'll believe it when I see it.
