Location-based reminders

Has anyone had much success asking Siri to create location-based reminders?

E.g remind me to lock the garage door when I get out of my car

E.g remind me to switch on the heated seats when I get into my car

Sometimes it doesn't acknowledge the location-based aspect and other times it works fine.

How does it know when you've got in or out of your car? It works if you give it the correct information. I use it daily.

All you need is the phone to connect to a cars Bluetooth to know if you got into your car, CarPlay not needed. Car reminders only work though I believe for getting into the car, not out of the car like the OP mentioned in one of his examples.

Perhaps all three of you should create a reminder and you'll see that you can use location-based reminders when connecting and disconnecting from a Bluetooth-paired car.

I have tried it. And it didn't work. But it's seems it's inconsistent so maybe it bugged out when I tried.

It does work but it can be really inconsistent.
