I am about to get my first MacBook Air in a few days. I will be installing Microsoft's OneDrive as I have about 500 GB of information stored there and want it synced to my Mac. Where will the OneDrive folder reside on my computer? Will the contents of that folder be backed up to iCloud as well (I hope not)?

Thanks,

Mike

It is not backed up to iCloud. It goes in ~/Library/CloudStorage/OneDrive-Personal.

I just got my MacBook Air and installed OneDrive on it. It uses the ~/OneDrive folder. Did I mess something up?

I wonder if they have changed this in newer versions of the client? Mine uses the folder that I have listed but I set it up almost 3 years ago.

Also, where did you get the client from? I am *not* using the App Store one, but rather the one that is available from Microsoft as a direct download. I wonder if that could make a difference?
