Location of playlists in itunes?

Long story short, all my entire itunes library was deleted, and so my playlists were wiped clean. I have a recent backup of my entire harddrive, but cant seem to find the playlist files in there. Can anyone point me to there location?

They are inside the iTunes Library File, which is usually in [Home Dir]/Music/iTunes/

thanks for the reply, how do i extract them from there?
