Location Services Enable or Disable?

Hi

I just jailbroke my iPhone 3GS and unlocked it. I followed a video tutorial (here) and it says that I should disable location services as it can interfere with my carrier (T-Mobile). Has anyone tested this and confirmed this?

You should be fine. Leave it on.
I think it had to do with an initial activation screen but that also has been resolved with updated JB tools.
